IF I WANT MY MANUALS IN A FAST WAY, DO I HAVE TO PURCHASE IN STORE OR ON THE WEB?
The fastest is always to go to the store. There could be a wait line at the start of the school year (august/september and january/february). Check our opening hours.
HOW TO ORDER?
For books and notes required for courses, the easiest method is to click on school materials and select your teacher and your course. Otherwise, in the search bar, you can enter keywords to find the article you are looking for.
You will notice that the products have two prices. If you would like to become a member and take advantage of the discounts offered (for life!), simply click on the Become a member tab and follow the steps.
I CAN'T FIND MY ARTICLE ON THE SITE. WHAT TO DO?
The books and notes required for courses should be found in the Find my course materials section if the teachers have previously ordered them. New items that have not yet arrived in store may not appear on the site. They will be released when the item arrives in store.
HOW CAN I FIND MY TEXTBOOKS BEFORE MY FIRST CLASSES?
For college students, as soon as you have your schedule, you can use the course search tool.
In the home banner, select school materials under the students tab
Use the drop-down menus by course to identify the prescribed textbooks for the course codes on your schedule. If "No materials currently required", you can add this course to your list of required materials to be notified when materials are added.
HOW CAN I FIND MY LECTURES NOTES?
Under the shop option - Lecture notes - Institutions - Departments - Teachers
I DON'T HAVE A CREDIT CARD. HOW CAN I MAKE A WEB PURCHASE?
Prepaid VISA cards from Canadian institutions are accepted on our website. If such a card is refused during a transaction, we invite you to contact the issuing institution directly. Otherwise, you can also go to a bookstore where we accept cash, debit card, credit card, Visa and MasterCard prepaid card, Coopsco gift card. Check our opening hours by bookstores.
WHEN CHECKING OUT, AN ERROR CODE APPEARS AND I CANNOT COMPLETE MY ORDER. WHY?
Make sure you are using a Visa or MasterCard credit or debit-credit card. Also, check that the address entered in the payment section is the one mentioned on your credit card account.
If your first transaction is blocked with mention of contacting your financial institution, do not try with other cards. You must have the transaction unblocked by the financial institution on your first attempt.
Your financial institution might have blocked the transaction, so do not hesitate to check with them.
WHEN AND WHERE CAN I PICK UP MY ORDER IF I HAVE OPTED FOR IN-STORE PICKUP?
You will receive an email as soon as part or all of your order is ready to be picked up. Normally, the delay is 24 to 72 hours, but it could be 5 working days more during the back-to-school period. You can follow the progress in the detail of the order on the site. Don't forget to check your spam emails.
To pick up your order, all you have to do is show up at the bookstore checkout according to our opening hours with an identification document and your order number. During the back-to-school period, you do not have to queue to access the store, go to the WEB PICKUP poster
HOW LONG SHOULD I EXPECT IF I HAVE REQUESTED HOME DELIVERY?
Normally, the processing time is around 24 to 72 hours, but it could be an additional 5 working days during the back-to-school period. You will receive an email when your order is shipped. It will then take 2 to 3 working days before your order arrives at home. You will be able to track your package with the link sent by email.
I PLACED MY ORDER A FEW DAYS AGO, BUT I HAVE NOT RECEIVED AN EMAIL STATING THAT MY ORDER IS READY. IS THIS NORMAL?
During the start of the school year, the team deploys extraordinary ways to serve you as quickly as possible. Our capacity is unfortunately limited due to current sanitary standards. The order processing time is normally a few days, but during the re-entry period, it could be an additional 5 working days.
Also, remember to check your spam emails, the confirmation email might be hiding there.
I RECEIVED ONLY PART OF MY ORDER. WHEN SHOULD I RECEIVE THE REST?
Some items may be temporarily out of stock. Normally, as soon as the desired item arrives in store, your order will be processed as a priority and you will receive a processing confirmation email.
In the event of a larger problem with the item ordered, a member of our staff will contact you.
I MADE A MISTAKE WITH MY ORDER, WHAT SHOULD I DO?
Please note that there are generally no refunds neither exchanges are possible for digital publications unless they are defective.
For an exchange request, you must first:
1. Ensure you that the item is in the same condition as it was received;
2. Your request must be sent within 10 days of receipt of the package;
3. Clearly specify the reason for the return;
4. Submit your request by email at service@coopscooutaouais.com.
Once we have authorized the return, you will receive a return number. You must return the item to us in its original packaging with the corresponding invoice and return number to the address of your school ( in person or by post office )
I HAVE SELECTED HOME DELIVERY, BUT NOW I WOULD LIKE TO PICK UP MY ORDER IN STORE, IS IT POSSIBLE?
Unfortunately, it is not possible to change the delivery method.
WHERE IS MY ACCESS TO THE DIGITAL BOOK I JUST PURCHASED?
Log in to your Coopsco account. Use the drop-down menu and select My digital products. Download the link.
IS MY MANUAL / NOVEL AVAILABLE IN DIGITAL FORMAT?
Only certain titles and versions of novels are available in digital format on our platform.
To verify, select the book category in products, enter the title, and click the search magnifying glass. In the left menu, filter the author, the desired format: paper, PDF or EPUB. You will be able to use the redirect hyperlinks to complete your purchase.

WHAT SERVICES ARE OFFERED IN THE COOPERATIVES OF THE COOPSCO NETWORK?
We offer a wide variety of services and products that may vary depending on the needs of our members.
In addition to books and course notes, we sell general literature, stationery, art equipment, computers, backpacks, technical equipment, gift items, etc. We also offer the electronic locker system at UQO.
We serve our external partners through sales to communities and school supplies for primary and secondary schools.
In addition, we have a printing service (Copie Conforme) located on Saint-Joseph Boulevard. All these products and services, in order to meet the needs of the community: students, teachers, institutions and other members of the coop.

DO YOU NEED TO BE A MEMBER TO BUY IN THE COOPERATIVE?
No, anyone who wants to can buy from our cooperative. However, to benefit from advantages and discounts, you must be a member.
HOW DO YOU BECOME A MEMBER?
To become a member, you must purchase a membership card after creating a user account.

There is no end to your membership! When you become a member of Coopsco Outaouais, it's for life. In addition, being a member is not limited to students. Anyone who wishes to be part of the cooperative is eligible.

WHAT IS A COOPERATIVE MODEL?
The international cooperative alliance has declared that a cooperative is an autonomous association of people willingly united to meet their common economic, social and cultural aspirations and needs. Company ownership is collective and power is exercised democratically.
The strength of a network
The Outaouais cooperative is part of a federation whose members are grouped under the COOPSCO banner. This brings together more than 60 school cooperatives, present in 98 schools, 16 of which are approved bookstores.

Board of directors
WHAT IS "THE COOPERATIVE BOARD OF DIRECTORS"?
A team of five students and four employees of educational institutions represents the members of the Cooperative.
WHAT ARE THE MEMBERS OF THE COOPERATIVE'S BOARD DOING?
They meet approximately once a month and take decisions at the social and economic level as well as on projects necessary for the proper functioning of the Cooperative.
WHO CAN BE A MEMBER OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS?
With or without experience, any student member of the Cooperative can participate. And the teachers too! All you have to do is apply before the annual assembly (usually at the end of September each year), and then be elected at the assembly.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF BEING A BOARD MEMBER?
It is an unforgettable experience for a student member besides being a professional advantage in a resume.
In addition, a student acquires useful knowledge for life while allowing him to get to know the administrators of Cooperatives in schools in all the province of Quebec.
